New versions of OpenVista CIS and OpenVista Server have been released, which means an updated Appliance is in order.

This release of the Appliance updates all previously-included software to their latest versions:

• OpenVista CIS 1.0 RC1 (0.9.95)
• OpenVista Server 1.5 SP1
• GT.M 5.3-003
• Xubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex"

In addition, the Appliance now includes the newly-released OVID and Patient Dashboard sample application.  The appliance also integrates some of the early work from the GT.M Integration project.

Other changes:

• SSH is now enabled on the Appliance so that remote clients can connect to OpenVista Server's text interface
  
• The Windows share exported by the Appliance now includes the CIS installer
• As mentioned in the OpenVista Server release announcement, the latest release of OpenVista Server has substantially less patient data than the old demonstration data set.  We hope to add more patient data in future releases.
