I see that JAAS.config expects to find the now obsolete vistalink module. But what needs to be in that file now to go with the RPC Broker that now works so well with OVID 0.9.2? And are any other changes needed?

The JAAS config is only used for VistaLink. Out of the box, the ccr-webservice should use RPCBroker and the only configuration point is the context.xml and you can just ignore JAAS.config. I'll soon be adding support to the ccr-webservice for CIABroker. If this isn't the case, or isn't working, please let me know and I'll take a look.

Aside: Since RPCBroker is so much more dependable (especially on gtm) and is usually already running on site, we've almost come to the point of deprecating VistaLink. If anyone really, really wanted to use vistalink we'd get it going again.

Andy, your post of Nov 19 refers to the "ccr-webservice". But this thread was originally (Mar 31) and recently (mine of Nov19) concerning the patient DashBoard. I have continued (on and off) to attempt to implement the DashBoard...

Does the dashboard <require> VistaLink?

I've figured it out, I think.

DashBoard requires VistaLink... and works when that is running....

Yes, the PatientDashboard was put together before we had RPCBroker support. Glad its working.
