Why can't an end user access a patient's record in CIS?

The end user's profile may be incorrectly set up to restrict patient records. To edit the user's profile:

 

From the Systems Manager Menu-> Select User Management-> Edit an Existing User-> Enter user's name

 

Navigate to page 4 of the user's profile.  At the top of the page, there is a field: RESTRICT PATIENT SELECTION.  Enter NO and enter through the fields to exit the page and profile.
