For those of you that would like to see a different sequence for your lab results you can follow the steps below:
1) In Open Vista type Test an Option
2) At the prompt Option entry to test: type XPAR EDIT PARAMETER
3) At the Select PARAMETER DEFINITION NAME: type ORWRP REPORT LAB LIST
4) At the Enter selection prompt you can type 6 or P for Package
The following screenshot corresponds to steps 1-4
5) At the Select Sequence Prompt do a ? to see the current sequence for the lab results
The following screenshot corresponds to step 5:
The following screenshot shows how the configuration from Open Vista crosses over to the CPRS/CIS application and displays as currently configured:
6) There are two options, if you are going to reorder the entire menu, I would recommend deleting out the entire sequence and then re-entering it, or if you are going to swap out the order for two options you could just delete the two sequences and re-enter them. We will go through the first Option of deleting out the entire sequence first. NOTE: You should take a screen shot of your menu’s prior to starting this process to make sure you don’t miss adding any back to your sequence.
The following screenshot corresponds to step 6:
7) After you have deleted out the entire sequence you can do a single ? and you will see that there are currently no entries for sequence
The following screenshot corresponds to steps 6, and 7:
8) Now that we have deleted out the entire sequence we can start adding them back in the sequence we would like them to show in CPRS/CIS, we will add them back in a sequence of 5’s as they were originally entered
