Consult Request Printing...department and local (Ward)

Is there a M syntax trick that permits defining two printers as the defaults for automatic consult req printing?

We are trying to set a Consult Request to print in the department and at the local Nursing Station printer in one shot.

 

So there are two questions:

Can you declare two printers at once?

Is there a variable or mnemonic that allows you to designate the Ward "default" printer in the declaration?

George, hopefully this will answer the first part of your question.  Currently there is not a feature that would allow for mutiple printers to be associated with a single consult request.  Any user that receives a consult notification can print a requisition, but the automated printing of the req can only be assigned one default printer. Would you be able to elaborate on the second part of your question so that I could get a better feel for what goal you are trying to reach?

Thanks for your reply.

The other part of the question....I was looking for a lazy way to declare the "local" printer as a default rather than having to go to each location.

I think I've answered my own question.  ...no shortcut.
